Using computers is now essential for jobseeking. Every week at Central Library, staff can help you with the basics of computers including:
- Setting up an email and Universal Jobmatch account
- Searching Universal Job Match for suitable jobs
- Sending emails and attaching your CV
- Signposting you to computer training and other help
What you will need to bring to Job Club
Your Library Ticket - you will need to join Gateshead Libraries if you would like to use our computers regularly. There is a small annual fee for computer use. You can join at any time at any Gateshead Library or on the day at Job Club.
A copy of your CV and covering letter - if you do not have a CV or covering letter please make an appointment with the National Careers Service - see below for details.
Passwords - Please bring any existing passwords for email or Jobmatch if you have already been registered. Library staff do not have access to any information held by the Job Centre or other training providers.
