Underwater Sound Workshop

Learn how to build hydrophones - these are microphones that can be used underwater and explore underwater sounds. We will learn how sound travels underwater and how it can be listened to by building a simple hydrophone. We will test our hydrophones and make recordings using them. Part of this workshop will look at historical hydrophone designs
and underwater communication techniques.
